(Goch) Am 26. November ist es soweit: Dann können und sollen besondere Pferde mit den zu ihnen passenden Menschen zusammenkommen. Die Springpferdeauktionen von Holger Hetzel sind das Ergebnis einer Idee, die auf der Passion des Initiators und einem schönen Tag der Offenen Tür vor etwas mehr als 20 Jahren basiert. Passend dazu und mit Blick in die Zukunft sind es 21 sehr sorgfältig ausgesuchte Springpferde, die Auktionator Volker Raulf am 26. November live vor Ort und online verauktionieren wird.
In Goch vollzieht sich in jedem Jahr mehr als eine geschäftliche Transaktion. Da treffen aufregendes Kribbeln, Show, Musik, Akrobatik, Gesang, Herzklopfen, Temperamente und Hoffnungen aufeinander. Und der Grund dafür sind die Pferde im Auktionslot. Um sie herum wird ein abwechslungsreiches und einladendes Programm gezaubert. Ein Pferdekauf ist nahezu immer ein Erlebnis – in Goch ist es ein besonderes. Olympiasieger Jeroen Dubbeldam sah “einen besonderen Abend mit fantastischen Pferden” und Olympiasieger Michael Jung war beeindruckt “von der Qualität der Pferde”. Holger Hetzel ist Trainer, Ausbilder, Nationenpreisreiter, Betriebswirt und all das wirft er in die Waagschale, wenn es darum geht, ein gutes Pferd zu erkennen und auch zu sehen, wie und wohin sich ein vierbeiniger Kandidat entwickeln kann. Die Fähigkeit, eine “richtige” Pferd-Mensch-Passung erkennen zu können, ist dabei ein entscheidender Vorteil.

…umfasst Stuten, Wallache und einen Hengst, die sich alle durch interessante Abstammungen und gute Ausbildung auszeichnen. Der sieben Jahre alte Dior von Diamant de Semilly-Corrado I ist so einer – Laurens Houben pilotierte den Schimmel bereits ins Finale des Hetzel & Tiemeyer Young Horse Masters und dann auch beim Bundeschampionat zum Titel Youngster of the Year 2025 aufgrund der stetigen Entwicklung und erstklassigen Qualität.
Qualität, Gesundheit, Leistungsbereitschaft – diese Faktoren spiegelt die Auktionskollektion wider. Und danach wurde ausgewählt. So präsentiert sich bei der 20. Springpferdeauktion eine internationale Kollektion von Pferden zwischen fünf und zehn Jahren aus europäischer Warmblutzucht.

(Goch/ Germany) On November 26th, the time has come: exceptional horses can and should be united with their perfect match. Holger Hetzel’s show jumping horse auctions are the culmination of an idea born from the initiator’s passion and a successful open house event over 20 years ago. Fittingly, and looking to the future, auctioneer Volker Raulf will be presenting 21 meticulously selected show jumping horses on November 26th, both live on-site and online.
In Goch/ Rhineland, more than a business transaction takes place every year: Exciting anticipation, showmanship, music, acrobatics, singing, heart-pounding excitement, vibrant temperaments, and hopes converge there. And the reason for all this is the horses in the auction lot. A diverse and inviting program is conjured up around them. Buying a horse is almost always an experience – in Goch, it’s something special. Olympic champion Jeroen Dubbeldam witnessed „a special evening with fantastic horses,“ and Olympic champion Michael Jung was impressed „by the quality of the horses.“ Compliments abound every year.

…make all the difference. And this applies first and foremost to the selection of horses in the collection. Every single horse in the auction lot is a gem in its own right. Holger Hetzel is a trainer, instructor, Nations Cup rider, and business manager, and he brings all of this expertise to bear when it comes to recognizing a good horse and seeing how and where a four-legged candidate can develop. The ability to identify a truly good horse-rider match is a crucial advantage.
The collection…
…comprises mares, geldings, and a stallion, all distinguished by their interesting pedigrees and excellent training. Seven-year-old Dior, by Diamant de Semilly out of a Corrado I dam, is one such example. Laurens Houben piloted the grey stallion to the finals of the Hetzel & Tiemeyer Young Horse Masters and then to the title of Youngster of the Year 2025 at the Bundeschampionat (German National Championships) thanks to his consistent development and first-class quality.
Quality, health, and willingness to perform—these are the factors reflected in the auction collection. And these were the criteria used for selection. Thus, the 20th Show Jumping Auction presents an international collection of horses between five and ten years old from European Warmblood breeding.
